Directions

Arriving by boat at the Port of Las Palmas, also called Puerto de la Luz (Port of the Light), you will see the Poema del Mar Aquarium building from the other side of the pier. Take Muelle de León y Castillo street to Avenida de los Consignatarios. Take the Sanapú Pier and at number 22 you will find the aquarium.

If you arrive by boat to Puerto de las Nieves de Agaete, there are 35 kilometers to the aquarium. Driving from Aagete, take the GC-2 highway and follow the indications.

Lines that pass near the Poema del Mar Aquarium are lines 12, 21, 45, 47 and 60.

take bus 60 or 91 and you must get off at Las Palmas de G.C (Santa Catalina) stop. From that point, walk for about 8 minutes until you reach the main entrance of the Poema del Mar Aquarium. The estimated duration of the journey is approximately 35 minutes.

take bus line 103 and then take line 26 and 81, and walk for 8-9 minutes.

The distance to Poema del Mar is 25.7 km and the estimated travel time is around 25 minutes.

At the roundabout of Avenida Aviación, take the GC-1 exit towards Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Follow the signs indications.
